El jueves 28 de abril, empresas costarricenses proveedoras de servicios o desarrollo de software de código abierto expondrán su catálogo de productos o servicios y atenderán al público en el evento EXPOSOL: Soluciones en Software Libre y Código Abierto, a realizarse entre las 8 de la mañana y las 4:30 de la tarde en el Hotel San José Palacio. Además de la zona de stands, la actividad contará con exposición de casos de implementación, tanto en el sector público como privado del país; una conferencia a cargo de Paul Frields (gerente de operaciones de ingeniería de la empresa internacional RedHat); y la participación de Eduardo Ferreira dos Santos del Ministerio de Planificación de Brasil. Free software is generally available without charge but is not bound to such a restriction.
